New Jersey notarial fees are set by statute at $2.50 per act, $15 for multiple acts in a single real estate transfer and $25 for multiple acts in real estate financing (N.J.S.A. 22A:4-14, as amended by P.L. 2021, c.179). Pennsylvania notarial fees are $5 per act (4 Pa. Code § 161.1); travel and clerical fees are permitted when disclosed before the notarization.
